My great-grandfather—God rest his soul—always called western North Carolina "God's Country." It didn't take long after moving here to understand exactly what he meant. From the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains and winding backroads to the warmth of the people who call this place home, I quickly fell in love with everything western North Carolina has to offer. Before long, I found myself wanting to preserve its beauty through photography.

Capturing the beauty of the natural world will always be my greatest joy. There is something incredibly rewarding about standing on a mountaintop before sunrise or waiting patiently as the last light of day fades across the horizon. Those quiet moments continue to inspire me every time I pick up my camera.

Over the years, that passion for landscape photography naturally led me to another calling: preserving life's most meaningful moments. Today, I have the privilege of photographing weddings, families, couples, and milestones that people will cherish for generations. Whether I'm capturing a breathtaking mountain vista or two people promising forever, my goal remains the same—to create timeless, authentic images that tell a story.

Natural light is at the heart of my photography. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me exploring western North Carolina with my beautiful wife, our spirited daughter, and our dog, Gravy.
